Waitangi Day, 6 February

Do you want to know more about New Zealand?

Every year on 6 February, New Zealand marks the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840 and this date has been a public holiday since 1974.

How about taking up another language on that day for a change?

Although English is currently the most widely spoken language in New Zealand, te reo Māori is the one of official languages of New Zealand.

We'll share this post as your holiday activity.
